The Cavewood Evolution

In Britain in the mid-sixties only a handful of independent studios and producers existed outside the control of the major London record labels. In the East Riding of Yorkshire local musician and electronics whiz Keith Herd started Fairview Studios in his spare front room. The recording studio expanded to be one of the leading facilities in the region with an unparalleled reputation and still is.

After caring for our music business clients projects it seemed a logical step forward to look after their reproduction and duplication requirements and so Fairview Duplication was born.

With over 40 years experience working in the music business we decided to tailor our skills towards making engaging video content for clients TV, Internet and DVD audiences. This gave our clients a complete start to finish service covering production through to end saleable product without them having to juggle multiple companies to take care of the different aspects of the project.

Cavewood Productions is an extension of the Fairview umbrella of companies and is positioned to cater for all end to end solutions for new media and video production.
